Inside

Rooms include master double room with kingsize bed and en-suite shower room.  Patio door to access beautiful views.  Twin room which can be made into a further double, again with patio door and velux to appreciate the scenery.  Sleeping loft ideal for children accessed by their own stair.  Two beds in here which provides an escape for youngsters to their own space with velux overlooking the southerly views.  Large full height entrance hall, complete with large cupboard to accommodate coats/boots etc.  small cupboard which houses the washing machine.  Large family bathroom.  Through to new extension comprising open plan kitchen/dining/living space.

Sleeping capacity described as 4+2. Ideal for 4 adults and two children.

Facilities include washing machine/dishwasher. 2xT.V's with dvd, stereo with ipod docking station.We can provide cot/highchair as required.

Outside

Gas barbeque provided on covered deck area in front of the house.  Garden furniture also provided. 

Outside drying area, covered parking with lockable storage for bikes etc. The storage area (shed) is quite cosy as it is insulated and contains the woodpellet boiler for the underfloor heating. Dogs can be left to dry here if particularly clarty.  There is also a pulley for drying washing/coats and large sink and hose for cleaning muddy outdoor equipment.
The surrounds of the cottage are stock proof to keep our livestock out but not dog proof.

Pets

We are happy to accommodate one well behaved dog with each booking (or speak to us about multiples), provided they don’t  need to sleep on the furniture!. Please do not leave them unattended in the cottage but use the dog accomodation in the shed if necessary.  Cottage boundary is not dog proof and you may well be surrounded by grazing sheep and game birds.  Please ensure dogs are under control.
We can provide grazing in a securely fenced field if you would like to bring your own horse.  Or possibly stabling nearby at South Slipperfield farm, (10min walk).

Parking and Access

Parking is limited to 3 cars.  Access is up a farm track (old drove road) which is obviously not tarmacked.  May not be ideal for very low cars, but quite satisfactory for the average family car.  Access through 3 farm gates, useful to have a passenger on board!
